Un nuovo progetto europeo in partenza!

Mirmica is recipient of new funding from the Erasmus+ program

After the rich and multi-faceted experience of Mirmica Developing Body Mind Practices, of which you can read HERE a summary of results, Mirmica is about to embark on a new European project, co-funded by the European Union's Erasmus+ program, Adult Education (Action KA122).

This time it's Nurturing - Networks of care through embodied art, a staff mobility project aimed at 12 people from the Mirmica community who in 2025 will travel abroad to attend training courses, study how similar organizations work, experiment with new teaching assignments; and, upon return, will collaborate in building a local platform that will involve other sector professionals, communities, and residents.

The previous experience taught us how somatic practices applied in training processes can be fundamental elements for building well-being of individuals and groups, but also of operators involved in the interventions.

With this project - focused not only on body-based practices but also on other methods of community intervention through the arts - we envision deepening the construction of a network of care, support, development, research and training: to break free from the isolation that characterizes our era, increasingly cultivate experiences of healthy relationships, innovate projects and practices, expand reference networks.

So: Stay tuned! Because in addition to the international mobility opportunities provided by the project, there will be lots of other proposals throughout the year that may also open up to the territories that Mirmica's little ants traverse.
