Research and specialized training
Training and research activities are at the heart of Mirmica's activities and organizational model, both in terms of developing skills and new activities, and in projects carried out in collaboration with other local or international organizations.
We think of training and self-training primarily as individual and group research and as a tool for personal, cultural, social, and organizational innovation. We therefore try to ensure that there is a continuous, non-linear exchange between internal training activities dedicated to Mirmica's trainers and artists, and activities carried out in different intervention contexts.
At the internal training level, the most significant experiences have been European projects developed over the years with our partners dedicated to body and somatic education, artistic research, participatory creation, and the development of active methodologies in the field of education and cultural accompaniment. And the long journey of developing associative identity supported by the Funder35 project.
In addition to the training and self-training component that characterizes a large part of the association's projects and exchanges with partners, Mirmica's trainers have been involved in paths related to psychiatric and psychotherapeutic specialization, the development of educational team skills in psychosocial and disability-related contexts, in music therapy training, in French certification courses for professional and non-professional animators, in courses on the use of theatrical and expressive tools in contexts at risk of social exclusion, and in dedicated paths for school teachers.
